Whoops?
Apparently I cut the kit bike’s fork blades a little short and my planned 73/72 HTA/STA became 74.5°/73.3 °(the floor is tilted by .2°). Now this is an interesting state of affairs – the kit bike is my best riding machine and I thought it was because it has a really long front triangle, but now there are two abnormalities in the geometry, either or both of which may contribute to the quality of the ride. I could build a new fork that’s longer, but that would shove the front end up and take away some of the comfortable saddle to bar drop I’ve got right now. So perhaps I’ll have to squash the frame on the 3 speed project bike and build a couple of differently lengthed forks for it?
