an ex water tower
The water tank (used for fire control, but, alas, long empty when the building caught fire underneath it) that used to sit on top of the last surviving building in the Centennial Mills complex. It’s a bit worse for wear after being dropped seven stories (picking up a huge dent when – I think – it rotated and struck one of the building walls after the tower base was blown up to drop the tank) and then having the walls of the building pushed down onto it.
(At least this is what it looked like on Monday; I’m guessing that now it’s been cut into small pieces which are piled in a heap at a salvage facility on Columbia Blvd.)
