The platonic ideal of a streamlined diesel-electric road locomotive
Milwaukee Road 14A (or 14B) sits for a builder’s photo at the Alco works in Schenectady. This is a wrong-side photo – the buildings behind it clutter the photo up – but still, look at it; could any streamlined diesel match this? I think not.
