New (trivial) Code!
Discount has, in quick order after 1.5 was released, been pushed up to version 1.5.1, because of a bug that Michael Granger discovered in the html output for tables. It turns out that I’d transposed the </tbody>
and </table>
at the end of a table, so the </tbody>
was (illegally, at least according to the spec, but not according to the firefox rendering engine) ended up outside the table.
Oh, bother.
To sweeten the pot, I’ve briefly documented the table extension in mkd_extensions.7
, and I’ve added a new compile flag – MKD_NOTABLES
– that disables table processing if you really don’t want it.
It’s almost a no-new-code version of New Code!, with only NOTABLES
standing between it and the release being a pure bugfix. If 1.5 hasn’t exploded on you, 1.5.1 is probably as safe as can be, and won’t kill your machine any worse than earlier versions.
