Okay, now this is starting to get kind of silly
Lets see if I remember this correctly: In Portland, it has snowed on Dec 14, Dec 15, Dec 16, Dec 17, Dec 18, Dec 19, and today. The weather forecasts claim that it’s going to snow on the 21st, the 22nd, 23rd, and possibly on the 25th (it’s only going to snow down to 1000ft on the 24th?)
And it’s not even officially winter until the 21st?
Sheeesh.

There’s the big cold front pushing down from Canada, of course, but there appears to be either a subtropical storm or wannabe subtropical storm that’s shoving a huge band of damp air up and over the coast range and into Portland.
The US NWS is claiming 8-14 inches of snow in the northern Willamette valley, and I think we’ve got 6+ inches here as of right now.

We’re getting snow, cold, wind, and snow, in positively traditional degree, right up until Christmas Day. At which point it shall go above freezing and rain, if the forecast is achieving any manner of correctness.
It looks like the Lady of the Ice and the Broad Atlantic are having more of a tussle than usual this year, for Toronto’s part; no idea what’s getting to you.
