Why, this is hell, nor are we out of it
The Sunday Times has a spiffy little report detailing how the US and UK tried to goad Iraq into starting a war by just cranking up bombing runs against that state.
In a just world, publishing this would result in Tony Blair and Maximum Leader Genius being dragged off in chains to face charges of high treason. And in a world where there was a G-d, it would be bolt of lightning and pillar of salt time in the OK corral.

Thanks, Terry. The URL for John Conyers' page (which describes & links to the letter) is http://www.johnconyers.campaignoffice.com/ , and (let's see if this works) the letter is here.
Ummm, sorry David, looks like trying to enter a link in the comments did NOT make the weblog program happy!
I don't know whether the weblog is happy or not, but the link to John Conyer's website seems to work just fine, at least for me.
I'm very happy, anyway, that some one else out there is taking the "smoking gun" memo seriously.
P.S. Any advice on how I get my wife to start blogging? I set up a blog for her, but she hasn't used it yet.
I don't know how you can convince your spouse to post. The best spends most of the day baby-herding, so she doesn't have enough energy to post very often, while I've got downtime at work that lets me I can fire up the liberal whining™ machinery once or twice a day. I periodically suggest "you should post! you should post!", but, alas, it rarely happens.

I just posted a comment on BloggerRadio about the availability of John Conyer's letter about the original memo for citizens to sign and send to the White House.
It's time for citizens to stand up and take action, especially in the absence of interest by the American media.
