The amount of spam coming into pell has dropped substantially ever since I stopped accepting mail from Yahoo!, but the residue still contains the occasional pearl of incoherent nonsense. Funnily, even though this spam contained this IMPORTANT note about unsubsycribing, it still ended up being classified accurately and being bunged into the spam barrel.

Oh, yes, I’ve got greylisting, antivirus, tcp wrappers, and the horrible bodge that is spamassassin filtering my mail. But I still need to go into the spam bucket every now and then to see if any real mail has been misclassified (it doesn’t happen very often, except when a vendor uses one of the more spam-friendly bulk mailing joints, which get caught by tcp wrappers) and that’s where I find the most amusing spam nonsense.

Have you set up a greylister? postgrey really made a huge difference in my spam intake.
